Meet Renee Vidal Furbush
Massage Therapist & Energy Practitioner

Renee has been emersed in the spa/wellness industry for the last 24 years as a Massage Therapist & Energy Medicine Practitioner.
Renee realized she loved to be of service to others in 1998 when she took her first Reiki class becoming certified in Usui Reiki. Initially, Renee took that class to help herself find peace while working a stressful corporate career. She was given a gift certificate by her assistant for her first Reiki session. That first session had impacted Renee greatly, and when she learned she could Reiki for herself and others she knew she had to take the class.
From that class Renee went on to become a Usui Reiki Master and Continued to learn many other Energy Modalities. Such as, Advanced Practitioner in Integrative Energy Therapy, Karuna Reiki Master, Holy Fire Reiki, Akashic Healing and many other modalities.
Renee felt her heart open & a great feeling of gratitude and accomplishment by helping others.
Discovering Energy Therapy and Akashic Record Healing had changed Renee’s life drastically. She left a corporate position and found Massage Therapy. Renee Attended Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington, CT from 2003-2005. She graduated and became a Licensed Massage therapist in Connecticut.
Since Graduating from CCMT in 2005, Renee has continued her education in Massage Therapy and Energy Therapy, Akashic Healing and has enjoyed a rewarding career. She worked as a Massage Therapist at some of the most beautiful Day spas in Connecticut, As an educator and support staff at Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington, CT and Cortiva Institute in Cromwell, CT.
Today, Renee’s focus in her practice is helping her clients become more embodied in being. In our busy lives and the impact of stress, we strive more on doing than on being. That is not how we are designed. Through Renee's unique approach at Bodywork, Akashic Healing and Energy Therapy she assist her clients into coming back home and center in their bodies and to help them release what no longer serves them Body, Mind and Soul.
Renee believes touch is the most powerful propellant into healing. The human body is so remarkable and complex like one hundred universes in one. Even through Dis-ease, the body can find its way home back into balance and harmony.
Everyday Renee fully show’s up for each client with compassion and remains a witness for all that they are, magnificent human beings.
There is no career more rewarding than being of service to others.
The Power of Touch: Returning to the Body and Finding Balance
In today’s fast-paced world, many of us live in our heads—constantly thinking about what’s next or dwelling on the past. This mental clutter creates excess energy around the head and crown, making it difficult to relax and be present.
When the mind is always focused on the future or past, the nervous system remains on high alert, keeping the body in a constant state of stress. Instead of being fully present with ourselves and our surroundings, we operate in a cycle of worry and anticipation.
Massage is a powerful tool to bring clients back into their bodies and the present moment. My goal is to help each person feel safe, centered, and grounded. Through therapeutic bodywork, we can regulate the nervous system, shifting from a state of fight-or-flight (sympathetic dominance) to rest-and-digest (parasympathetic activation).
Many people live in a constant stress response, leading to an overproduction of cortisol—the body’s primary stress hormone. This imbalance can contribute to chronic pain, weight issues, and other health concerns. By combining massage with guided breathwork and visualization, we help reset the body, calm the mind, lower blood pressure, and restore balance.
